Associate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel
Assists the Vice President & General Counsel in
providing legal advice to Regents, President and Executive
Officers and in overall management of legal offices.
Handles all phases of labor and employment matters with
respect to staff and, to a lesser extent, faculty. Provides
advice and counsel on all employment matters and handles
them in the forum in which complaints arise including
state and federal court, various civil rights agencies,
and the arbitration associations. Provides advice on
staff benefits matters.
